The Baptist Church at some point was converted to a residence. Mr. Evans was "Tunnel Keeper" at the Manunka Chunk Tunnel to the south. The last resident of the home was Mr. Hartzell. The house was already in poor condition, and Mr. Hartzell was not in shape enough to repair it. It was demolished in 2015.
